Dr. Alexis Perez is a general dentist at the Spring Dental in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He was born and raised in Marin County, California, and stayed close to home by going to University of Southern California for his bachelors of science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Dr. Perez loved his time at USC so much he stayed there to receive his masters in Global Medicine, and went on to dental school at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. He is excited to apply the skills he learned in school to help patients feel more confident in their smiles. Dr. Perez hopes to be a well-rounded, culturally competent and innovative dentist to serve his community to the best of their abilities.

Dr. Perez is married to a dental hygienist, Heidi, and they have an adorable 4-year-old poodle. They love traveling together and trying new restaurants. Dr. Perez is an expert breakfast burrito maker, and loves watching the show House. A fun fact about Dr. Perez is if he could have any superpower he would choose the ability to teleport, to make it easier for him to travel and see the world!

Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Dr. Chereeka Darling developed a passion for dentistry after witnessing the limited access to oral healthcare in her home country. That experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a meaningful difference by improving patients’ oral health and confidence.

Dr. Darling earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University before completing the Certificate in Biomedical Sciences Post-Baccalaureate Program at The University of Texas at Dallas. She then worked as a dental assistant in a private practice, gaining valuable clinical experience before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry.

Dr. Darling enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and loves combining her attention to detail with the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where every patient feels comfortable, valued, and cared for while helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Committed to serving others, Dr. Darling has volunteered with Texas Mission of Mercy throughout her educational journey and served as Co-President of the Student National Dental Association at Texas A&M College of Dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. Darling enjoys exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, cooking and baking for friends and family and staying active through Hot Sculpt and Hot Pilates classes.
